Banknote Sorters
The reliable UW- and USF-series of banknote sorters provide a solution to all sorting operations, based on three operating modes: Denomination Sorting, Orientation Sorting and Fitness Sorting.
They offer accurate counting with a very low jam rate and almost 100% note recognition, thus rejecting less banknotes than many other sorters. Deutsche Bundesbank, the German Central Bank, certified the high level of counterfeit detection already in 2004.
The compact and ergonomic design offers a small footprint and minimise the operators’ movements during processing. No special training is required to manage the easy and simple operation, just select the processing mode and put the banknotes in the input hopper.

Sorting Modes
Denomination sorting
The mixed banknotes are sorted by denomination to dedicated stackers.
Orientation sorting
The mixed banknotes are sorted by direction, such as face up/down and portrait up/down.
Fitness sorting
The banknotes are sorted by quality/fitness. UW detects folded corners, holes, soil, tears and tape as unfit notes.
